Update: cancellation due to corona virus

Dear Colleagues, Speakers, Guests,

after careful deliberation, in light of the corona virus situation, we have decided today to cancel the "Workshop on Mathematical Signal and Image Analysis" from March 30 - April 2, 2020 in Raitenhaslach.

In the last week about one third of our invited speakers was forced to cancel their participation due to travel restrictions imposed by their universities. We want to stress that we support these decisions.

These cancellations have already severely damaged the scientific substance of our event. It is not unlikely that other countries (including Austria, France, Germany and the UK) will soon make similar recommendations to their research institutions, affecting even more of our guests. Therefore, after weighing the expected benefits of the workshop against the uncertainty and risks, we have decided that cancellation of the event is the best course of action.

If you have not yet done so, please do not book any trains, flights and hotel rooms. Conference participation fees will of course be reimbursed / not charged.

If you have any questions, please get in touch with us.

We apologize for these unfortunate news and hope that the situation improves soon so that we can meet again at stimulating conferences and workshops.

Best, Bernhard, Brigitte, Felix, Stefan

Time and place

Theme

The workshop is to bring together leading researchers from different facets of mathematics, signal and image processing to present their latest cutting-edge research and to establish new directions for future investigations and cooperation. It will also serve as the annual meeting of the GAMM activity group on Mathematical Signal and Image Processing Pfeil.

The goal of the workshop is to connect researchers in all areas related to the broad research field of mathematical signal and image analysis. For example, we welcome contributions that use and develop tools from
